A second tribute to the great Andrew Wyeth, this piece continues my exploration of his iconic imagery. Here, I reinterpreted his Autumn Corn Field, layering it over one of my signature gray sky backgrounds—the fourth installment in the Learning to Love series. I found particular joy in painting the delicate, ribbon-like corn stalks as they danced in the wind. That joy sparked the creation of a larger work, Afternoon Snack, where I further explored this elegant movement. Like its predecessor, this painting is meant to serve as a bridge—an invitation for viewers to step beyond their familiar visual language and into new terrain.
