Initially inspired by the simple joy of searching for "cotton candy sunset clouds" with my daughter, this painting later evolved as its color palette reminded me of the soft tones of lupines. This connection led me to reflect on "Miss Rumphius" by Barbara Cooney, a bedtime favorite. Its enduring theme — the call to make the world more beautiful — continues to inspire both my life and my work.
