Roots

The eroded stream banks leave wildly intricate pathways of tree roots exposed for our splendor, and to not marvel at them would be a missed opportunity I wouldn’t think to pass up. Studying these roots, their textures, shapes, and knots, became a study of my own beginnings. Nestled amongst the roots and trunks are messages to myself and the trees.
