This background began over two years ago as an experiment in colorful wash techniques. After completing only the first layer, the canvas sat untouched — waiting — until I revisited it and intuitively transformed it into one of my favorite abstract foundations. Inspired by a playful exploration of scale, and sharing my mother's love for zinnias, I realized the vibrant palette was the perfect match for these joyful blooms. Choosing to move away from realism, I amplified the colors, allowing the painting to fully express my passion for color, energy, and — perhaps — a little bit of my chaos.
